Carolyn Carlson took over the direction of the ballet in December 2004. She constructs her work in cooperation with an artistic company as well as other guest choreographers and resident companies.

In Tourcoing, Jean-Claude Malgoire, the undisputed master of baroque music, works with the “Grande Ecurie” and “Chambre du Roy” to perform the finest operas of the 17th, 18th and 20th centuries.

The Grand Mix is a venue dedicated to contemporary music. Its programme reflects the cultural practices of various audiences (especially that of young people). Special attention is paid to the new practices and creations in contemporary music.
