 Flanders Battlefield Tour

Lille - Ypres - Lille

Some of the most important battles of the First World War took place around Ypres (Belgium). This tour is designed to save you the hassle of getting by train or taxi to Ypres, and to give you an overview of the Ypres Salient 1914-18.

You will discover the main sites surrounding Ypres: battlefields in Messines area, monuments, memorials, cemeteries. Including Essex Farm Cemetery (site of the creation of the poem "In Flanders Fields" by John McRae), Bozinghe (tranchees), Langemark (German cemetery), Tyne Cot Cemetery (the largest and most impressive Commonwealth military cemetery). You will also see the centre of Ypres.

From April 20 to December 7, 2013: each Saturday from 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
