 Arriving in Lille by train
TER regional trains, Lille Flandres Station

Situated just 400 meters from one another, Lille's two train stations are located in the city centre and are served by both the subway and the tram.

Lille Flandres Station: TER regional trains and direct TGV service to Paris
Lille Europe Station: Eurostar service to London and Brussels, direct TGV service to Roissy Airport, Paris and all major French cities

London : 80 minutes
Paris: 1 hour, 26 direct TGVs a day
Brussels: 38 minutes, 14 TGV and Eurostar trains a day

 Arriving in Lille by plane
The Lille-Lesquin International Airport

The Lille-Lesquin International Airport is located 10 km from Lille city centre.

It serves more than 60 national and international destinations.

Scheduled domestic flights with Air France, Chalair, Ryanair and Vueling Companies to and from Brest, Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Strasbourg and Toulouse.
Direct international flights to and from Barcelone El Prat (from March 2012), Porto, Alger and Oran.

Shuttle service from the airport to the city centre (bus stop sign "Liaison aéroport" outside the Euralille shopping center) is available. Length of ride: 20 minutes.
From Lille to the airport: departures every hour Monday - Friday: 5 am - 10 pm, Saturday: 5 am - 4 pm, 6 pm - 9 pm, Sunday: 7 am and 9 am - 10 pm.
From the airport to Lille: departures every hour Monday - Friday: 5.30 am - 10.15 pm, Saturday: 5.30 am - 9.45 pm, Sunday: 8.30 am - 10.15 pm.

 Arriving by coach
 

Eurolines is the largest operator of scheduled coach services to Europe and offers daily services to Lille with competitive prices starting from just £39 return.

 

Services are provided by modern air-conditioned coaches with reclining seats and on board toilets. Each customer gets a free luggage allowance of two medium sized suitcases which are stored securely in the hold whilst Eurolines represents the greenest form of travel, producing almost six times less carbon emissions than flying.

 

Services depart from Victoria Coach Station in London and run to Lille Europe, Boulevard de Leeds in Lille saving on the need for expensive transfer costs and providing the opportunity to enjoy the scenery on your journey. Customers travelling from outside London can connect via National Express services for just £15 one-way or return from locations throughout the UK.

Lille has street level car parks offering about 20,000 parking spaces as well as several metro car parks in the city centre, in addition to on-street pay-and-display ticket parking.
The rate generally varies between €1.30 to €1.60 an hour, depending on the location.

Nevertheless, it is recommended that you park outside the city centre and use the metro or the Citadine bus.

6 park-and-ride car parks with metro access offer free parking 24/7 and security surveillance Monday - Saturday: 6 am - midnight. They are located in Lille (metro stops Porte d'Arras, Porte des Postes and CHR B Calmette), in Lomme (metro stop Saint-Philibert) and in Villeneuve d'Ascq (metro stops Les Prés and 4 Cantons).
2 park-and-ride car parks with Citadine bus access are available. The first is located in the Champ de Mars (next to the Citadel) and the second at the Porte de Valenciennes metro stop. Both offer security surveillance Monday - Saturday: 7 am - 8 pm. At a cost of €1.60 for 3 hours or €3 for the day, parking includes free rides on the Citadine bus that serves the city centre as well as the rest of the city. Outside of these hours, parking is free and unsupervised.
